This Zen Quote is so profound. In Eastern culture, result is more valued than process - in contrast to Western culture. Or maybe this is just a recent shift due to different stage of development. Anyhow, my point here is that - the origin of asian mentality is actually about the process of pursuing rather than achieving the result regardless of the approach.

Very deep indeed. It somehow speaks to me on a very intuitive level - it summarizes the way these things ought to be and how I expect them to work.

...Probably because of all the fiction inspired by cool martial arts experts i've consumed. :)

That there is a great approach to the 'eternal soul search'... for me it says it doesn't really matter how much searching you do... life still carries on.
